Aguero out of Barcelona showdown with hamstring injury
City's striker is likely to be out of action for a month following a hamstring injury sustained at Tottenham and is set to miss out on the Champion League clash against Barcelona
Manchester City have been handed a severe blow ahead of the Champions League showdown withBarcelona with the news that Sergio Aguero is likely to miss a month with a hamstring injury.
The Argentina striker, who has scored six goals in his last five games since returning from a calf injury he picked up in December’s win over Arsenal, tweaked his hamstring shortly after opening the scoring in Wednesday’s 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

farmer from Filabusi in Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe is singing the blues after he harvested potatoes shaped like a human male organ which buyers find strange and refuse to buy. The farmer, who only preferred to be identified as Mr Moyo, said he was still in shock about the strange harvest that had hindered his business. “I grew potatoes on one acre and when it was harvest time, three quarters of my potatoes had a funny shape which looked like male private parts. “Buyers are reluctant to purchase my potatoes and now I’m forced to mix then with other potatoes. I cannot sell them separately,” he said. Moyo revealed that he was even ashamed to take his potatoes to the market as he ends up being the joke of the day. “When I go to the market with these potatoes, they laugh at me saying here comes the man of organ potatoes and they refuse to buy them,” he said. Moyo said in all his farming life, he has never seen nor heard of ‘anaconda-shaped’ potatoes. He said he would be engaging experts to get to understand why he harvested such ‘male potatoes’. However, a local agronomist, Mr Lovemore Nyakazela, said there was nothing wrong with shapes ofpotatoes. “The funny shapes of potatoes are usually caused by the variety of the soil. If they are grown on very hard soil or rocky areas then they are likely to have those funny shapes,” he said

Jonathan seeks death penalty for cyber crime
President Goodluck Jonathan has proposed a death sentence on persons who hack into the Critical National Information Infrastructure or computer networks resulting in the loss of lives.
The proposal is contained in the Cyber Crime Bill 2013, which is before the House of Representatives.
However, where there is no loss of lives but the offender causes “grievous bodily injury” to another person, the bill recommends a prison term of not less than 15 years.
FCMB Workers Arraigned For Stealing N13.5m From Bullion Van
Two workers with the First City Monument Bank Plc, Adeyemi Adebayo, 32, and Ogundare Julius, 46, have been arraigned before an Ebute-Meta Magistrate’s court for allegedly stealing €50,000 belonging to the bank.
The men were asked to transport the money in a bullion van from the bank’s headquarters at Marina, Lagos, to a branch of FCMB at Adetokunbo Ademola, Lagos Island.
Adebayo, the cash transit officer, allegedly connived with Julius, the bullion driver, to divert the money to an agreed place.

A mother whose children died after she locked them in the car with a heater running, while she had sex in another vehicle, is on trial for homicide.
Prosecutors say Heather Jensen, 25, carried out a "death sentence" against her two young sons when she locked then in the hot car, Fox 31 Denver reports.
The charges against Ms Jensen include criminally negligent homicide, child abuse resulting in death and false reporting. Continue...
