U-20 National Team Coach,Manu-Garba explains 35 man list

Newly-appointed head coach of the U-20 National Team, Manu Garba has explained the wisdom behind the decision to invite 35 players for screening as he launches the race to get the Flying Eagles to the 2015 African Youth Championship, and subsequently, the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015.
Manu told brilafm.net that, there was the need for many new names other than the ones with whom he won the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in UAE with. He noted that about ten regular players have left the country for clubs abroad. However, Manu submitted that he may call on them when the need arises in the future.

"The nucleus of the team, about ten players are already outside the country, how do we start the camp without those players? We need to look for new players that will complement other players that are remaining behind, so by the time we do the two weeks screening if we're lucky to find some players, we mix them up with those players that are remaining behind, those that are outside the country if the need arises we will be calling them to come and beef up the team as the need arises but apart from these 35, I think other players will still come on their own to come and train." Manu posited.
