International stars lend their voices to #bringbackourgirls campaign

The abduction of the over 200 Borno school girls by Boko Haram has sparked public outrage in Nigeria and the rest of the world.

Numerous celebrities including Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, and Mary J. Blige have joined the viral #BringBackOurGirls campaign to raise awareness about the plight of the Borno Girls.

A member of the UK House of Commons has also reportedly joined the campaign, stating that the UK government is ready to assist Nigeria in ensuring the girls’ release. See the alleged letter below:


Other international celebrities who have lent their voice to the #BringBackOurGirls campaign Russel Simmons, Taraji P. Henson,  T-Boz,  Young Jeezy, Piers Morgan and many others.

Splendinho.blogspot.com,  has joined others in calling for the release of the abducted schoolgirls by activating a countdown on its homepage to mark the time since the kidnapping of the victims by Boko Haram militants on April 15.
