The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian
Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on
Saturday night, extended an invite to President
Muhammadu Buhari as a guest at the next
annual convention of the church.
While welcoming Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to
the Saturday Holy Communion Service on the
sixth day of the 63rd annual convention which
ended on Sunday, Adeboye asked Osinbajo to give
the love and prayer of the congregation to Buhari
and tell the president that "we are expecting him
next time."
Adeboye at service in the new auditorium at the
RCCG camp on Sunday announced the theme for
the 64th convention as 'Amen.'
The 2015 convention ended on Sunday with a
total of 114 babies given birth to at the venue, in
the eight days the programme ran. Adeboye gave
the statistics as 58 girls and 56 boys.
Over 1000 new pastors were ordained on Sunday,
with Osinbajo in attendance.
In his sermon on Saturday, Pastor Adeboye said
he considered himself richer than the man atop
Forbes' rich-list, Bill Gates, because he has
innumerable spiritual children scattered all over
the world who could provide for his desire in a
way the billionaire Microsoft founder cannot.
