Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) has extended the distribution of the Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) by two weeks .
INEC says the exercise will continue across the country until March 22, 2015.
The commission had on February 9, extended the PVC collection date to March 8.
In a statement by INEC’s Secretary, Mrs Augusta Ogakwu, said the rescheduling of the 2015 general elections from February 14 and 28 to March 28 and April 11 made the elctoral body consider the shifting of the collection date.
So far, the electoral body said it had achieved 78 per cent distribution of the PVCs across the states.
