Governors Emmanuel Uduaghan and Godswill Akpabio of Delta and Akwa Ibom States have been invited to the final of the 30th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations coming up Sunday, February 8 at the Bata Stadium, in Equatorial Guinea.
The duo have recorded numerous achievements in sports, with Uduaghan winning numerous awards to his name. As special guest to the Glo-CAF Awards night in Lagos last
month, Dr Uduaghan had the singular honour of presenting the 2014 African Footballer of the Year Award to Ivory Coast and Manchester City midfield gem, Yaya Toure.
Akpabio on his part built the ultra-modern stadium, the Nest of Champions last year, an arena that host Super Eagles final 2015 Afcon qualifier against South Africa. The encounter ended 2-2 but was not enough to qualify the team to the finals.
